Our wildflower honey is a very aromatic honey. When we are extracting this honey, the honey house often fills with the aroma of this honey. It has a very bold flavor that lingers on the palate. This honey is a very popular table honey and often takes the place of the sugar bowl in many homes. Andy often likes to put this honey over fresh fruit as a light desert after dinner.
Our all-natural honeys are processed without hear or filtrations and bottled immediately after the extraction process. Honeys that we call "All-Natural" are creamy in appearance, and solid rather than liquid, containing bits of pollen, propilis, and beeswax. You can place the jar in warm (90-100°F) water to soften, but avoid heating to clarify because the natural benefits may be lost.
Avoid refrigeration of honey - it dampens the flavor. Pure honey is naturally sterile and will not spoil. If any of the clear honeys granulate, simply warm the jar gently in a bath of warm water on the stove. Do not heat the water to more than 130°F, as the more you heat honey, the more the flavor diminishes.
